"Gone Fishing"

This fishing basket is one of a kind! It has been put together by a Murch parent, and an avid local fisherman. It has the quality equipment a family needs to go fishing, all set up and ready to go! The basket includes two different sets of rods and matching installed reels which can be used to catch a wide range of fish in the DC waters and surrounding areas. The heavier set with a 7' Ugly Stick rod and a very smooth, size 4000, Kastking reel, is suitable for catching Potomac catfish, carp and rockfish. It's been spooled with 20lb Beyond Braid. You can even use this set in the ocean. The lighter set with 6' rod and a size 2000 Kastking reel, is suitable for catching bass, shad (it's the season!), trout, and all sorts of sunfish, etc. It's been spooled with 8lb Yozuri monofilament. Terminal tackle for both rods is included, with swivels, weights (for the heavy rod), various lures, etc. There is also a fish holder and a fishing plier. All of this equipment nicely fits into the fishing backpack, also included. The shad run begins any day and waters of the DC will soon be full of running shad with all the larger fish that prey on them including from time to time some rockfish for the lucky anglers.
