SC #411, 2023

Acrylic on canvas, sewn

SC #411 is made up of painted canvas cut into strips and sewn onto another piece of canvas and then stretched over stretcher bars. This work is a sub-series of my overall practice.

About the artist:

My work is represented by Jack Fischer Gallery in San Francisco and Robischon Gallery in Denver. In addition to several solo shows at Jack Fischer Gallery and Robischon Gallery, I had six solo shows at the former Braunstein/Quay Gallery in San Francisco and one person shows at the New Mexico Museum of Art, Santa Fe; Gold/scopophilia, Montclair, NJ; Artemisia Gallery, Chicago; Intersection for the Arts, San Francisco; Limn Gallery, San Francisco; Mohr Gallery at the Community School for Music and Arts, Mountain View, CA; and Galerie Eylau '5, Berlin, Germany.
