Go on an adventure through Seward Park, one of the last stands of old growth in the City of Seattle, led by Kevin O'Malley (aka Porcupine), lead naturalist and wilderness skills instructor at South Sound Nature School.

Wildlife tracking is both a science and an art, as the theories and stories weave in and out of each other while tracking animals. Go where the animals are by reading the landscape and taking in a holistic view of the ecology. You'll learn to identify animal tracks and signs by asking the right questions and gain understanding of the thought process Porcupine uses to choose where to search for wildlife. You can then utilize your new skills on your next journey into the wild or local park!

Take your pick from the following dates: Saturday, August 30th, 2025; Thursday, September 25th; 2025; or Saturday, October 4th, 2025. Valid for up to eight people, kids must be accompanied by an adult. Adventurers meet at Seward Park in Seattle from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
