The Sauganash Pre-K students used their fingerprints to create the sun and ray on a white table. The table surface has been resin coated for hard play and easy clean up. Each student stamped their fingerprint and signed their name around the base of the table.

Kindergarteners in Mrs. Brennan's class each built an individual bloom by cutting shapes from painted paper and glueing them together in their own unique style. The blooms were then collaged together into a framed still life of flowers in a vase. Each child's name is written next to the flower they created.

First grader's in Ms. Ackerman's class worked together to create a collaborative drawing of an imagined cityscape. They added bursts of watercolor to add energy to their bustling city."

First grader's in Ms. Wanner's class worked together to create a collaborative drawing of outer space. They added bursts of watercolor to add excitement to this fantastical space.
First grader's in Ms. Hague's class worked together to create a collaborative drawing of sea life in the briny deep. They added bursts of watercolor to add playfulness to their coral reef.
Third graders learned about the concept of abstract art and then worked in small groups to layer color and shapes on canvas.

"Seventh graders used tissue paper and a matte gel medium to create a textured surface on their own individual 2.5 x 2.5 stretched canvas. Once dry, students painted the squares with one of four neutral colors provided, with gold leaf as accents. The small canvases were then mounted and evenly glued in a grid formation onto a homemade frame, stained with a whitewash. The artwork can be hung vertically or horizontally and be interpreted as the viewer sees fit. Students referenced mountains as they made ridges in their tissue paper as well as waves in bodies of water.""
Street art inspired collage | 24" x 24" | Metal frame in copper colorAcrylic paint and aged paper on wood board, varnished. Each student created a black and white image with acrylic paint markers, which were aged and collaged into the final work.

The 6 th graders were tasked to create murals with the theme Community in the style of 4of the most famous Urban Artists: Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Keith Haring, and EduardoKobra. Each 25" x 15" piece was done in spray paint and acrylic on recovered boardmounted brick.
