Donated in memory of Malin Opitz. Original 36" x 48" x 2" Frances Berry painting of a color block Dolly Parton on a wood panel. Malin Opitz loved all things big, bright, and creative, and Frances Berry's work out of Memphis, TN, epitomizes that. Malin never wanted to stay in the lines, and she let her light shine brightly every day, expressing herself in any way she could in her very full 9.5 years. She loved exploring all mediums of art as she went out in the world painting her sweet spirit everywhere. This amazing, one-of-a-kind piece by Frances Berry of Dolly is a reminder to all who love Malin of Dolly's famous quote: "You just try to be nice to everybody, 'cause you know everybody's got a dream," a phrase that sums up her amazing character that she continued to carry in spite of this messy disease. Also includes a Malin Opitz - No Throwaway Days sticker.
