This collection of four prints by Mechoopda artist Jacob Meders exemplifies his interdisciplinary approach and critical engagement with representation. Meders' work reexamines historical and stereotypical documentations of Native Americans through the printmaking process, challenging viewers to confront their impact on Native culture. By incorporating book forms and prints as symbols of Western knowledge and linear thought, Meders reclaims these mediums as vehicles to reshape and expand perceptions of Native identity. A thought-provoking set from an artist whose work is featured nationally in exhibitions and collections. Each print measures 10x13.
