Artist: Ed Mighell (Point Hope)

This tile, crafted in 2007, features the beach pea, a hardy coastal plant that prevents erosion along the Alaskan shoreline. Made from glacial clay sourced from Bootlegger Cove, it showcases Alaskan artistry through old fashion etching press and with copper or mat board plates. The Alaskan Native artist personally mixes glazes and fires it to cone six in electric kilns for durability. The back is stamped with a copyright mark, a vitrified notation, and identification of Cook Inlet Glacier Clay, ensuring its authenticity.

Dimensions: 6" x 6"
