Two (2) night stay at this Highland Lakes, NJ house (1 hour away from NYC). Families with children and well-behaved pets are welcome!

Picture a quiet and private lakehouse high above the ski line set down on 2 rare rock bluffs, giving you a majestic water view just like it was in 1939. Vast wildlife and soaring eagles as if you were in the deep woods but only 1 hour away from NYC. Steps away from a clean, unspoiled lake full of fish (no gas-powered motorboats allowed). Upon your arrival, your hosts (and fellow PS 87 family), John and Evelina McNally, will welcome you with a cocktail boat cruise around the lake.

The 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house comfortably sleeps 8 people. The capacious great room has a huge working fireplace. The great kitchen surrounds the chef. Guests will have exclusive use of a private dock on the lake, 10 kayaks, 1 canopied rowboat, fishing poles, hot tub, outdoor fire pit (for s'mores!), outdoor barbeque grill and a treehouse. At night, the small private lake community keeps the outdoor lighting to a minimum, perfect for stargazing!
