Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath

Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath served as the youngest-ever Chair of the Board of Supervisors and is focused on bringing young and marginalized voices into the work of the County. She is the first millennial, and currently the only renter to serve on the Board, bringing a much-needed perspective to Los Angeles County leadership.

Upon taking office in December 2022, she authored LA County's homelessness emergency declaration, bringing added urgency and transparency to the region's homelessness response. Supervisor Horvath also appointed herself to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) Commission to focus accountability and transparency on the use of resources to address the emergency.

A member of the Metro Board of Directors and Vice Chair of Clean Power Alliance, she is also a longtime champion for transportation, environmental sustainability and justice, and women's and LGBTQ+ rights.

She previously served as Councilmember and the longest consecutively serving Mayor of West Hollywood.

Friars Charitable Foundation

Since its founding in 1956, the Friars Charitable Foundation has been dedicated to improving the lives of children and families across Los Angeles County. Through programs that integrate arts, education, and human services, the Foundation has made a lasting impact on our community.

Her deep commitment to philanthropy extends beyond grantmaking-Marilyn actively partners with grantees to amplify generosity and foster collaboration among organizations. 

We proudly celebrate her contributions and the Foundation's dedication to uplifting communities and driving meaningful change. Marilyn will accept this award on behalf of the Friars Charitable Foundation, whose ongoing support continues to transform lives. 

Adrianna Andrews

We are honored to recognize Adrianna Andrews with Aviva's 2025 Transformation Award. A graduate of our Wallis House Residential Interim Supportive Housing Program for Women and Children, Adrianna arrived at our supportive housing with her two young boys during COVID-19. While in the program Adrianna found the strength in her to make life-changing decisions. After 10 months, she successfully secured permanent housing and continues to work towards building a brighter future.

Currently, Adrianna is pursuing her education with LAUSD's Career Technical Education program while interning at the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), where she supports the community through digital literacy programs and resume development. Passionate about social services, she is dedicated to building a strong community for her children, and we are truly inspired by the resilience she demonstrates.

Erica Olsen

Erica Olsen is an Emmy-winning Lifestyle Host & Executive Producer for CBS Stations. She is the Host and Executive Producer of Inside SoCal, a weekly 5-minute lifestyle series airing on CBS & KCAL Los Angeles. Erica is the Past President of Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) SoCal Affiliate. She has her Intermediate Sommelier certification and completed her Winemaker Certification from UC Davis. She was born and raised in Nebraska but now calls Los Angeles home. When she's not working, she loves hiking with her dog, Caesar, trying new wines, being in the kitchen and traveling the world.
