A digital vector illustration of the Syria Mosque by Shane Henderson, part of his Gone But Not Forgotten series of illustrations under his Buildings by Shane brand. The Syria Mosque was a Pittsburgh concert venue located in the Oakland neighborhood, built for the Shriners organization by the architectural firm Huehl, Schmidt & Holmes in 1911. Renowned for its intricate Arab inspired architecture and excellent interior acoustics, the venue stood for 80 years and played host to many famous performers including Nat King Cole, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, The Who, Pink Floyd, Carly Simon, The Beach Boys, and more. Printed from an Epson XP-15000 on Mohawk Loop Antique Vellum recycled paper. Measures 18"x22"
