Gala FAQs

When does the Gala start?
The Gala begins at 7:00 PM. The evening will open with a cocktail hour, followed by a sit-down dinner and a live appeal.

What is the dress code for the event?
Dress to impress!

Is there parking available?
Yes, there is a parking lot available on-site.

Do I need to bring confirmation of my ticket purchase for myself or my guest?
No confirmation is needed. Please check in with our volunteers upon arrival at Terrace on the Park. They will provide your table assignment and bidding paddle.

How do you accept payment for auction, raffle purchases, and/or direct donations?
You may add a credit or debit card to your GiveSmart account at any time to pay for silent or live auction items and donations. You may also pay by check or cash by visiting the Registration Table at the Gala.

For larger donations, you may coordinate directly with Kat Sullivan, Assistant Head of School for Advancement, to complete payment by April 30. Stock and wire transfers are accepted.

Please note: A credit card is required on your GiveSmart account in order to bid in the silent auction. If you prefer to pay by check or cash rather than charge your card, visit the Registration Table before the silent auction closes. Otherwise, your card will be automatically charged at the end of the auction.

Do I need to have cash on hand to participate in any capacity at the Gala?
No, cash is not required.

When does the silent auction begin?
The silent auction will open for viewing only on April 1. New prizes will be added daily. Mobile bidding will begin one week prior to the Gala.

When does the silent auction end?
Bidding will close at 10:15 PM on April 25. Winning items will automatically appear in your GiveSmart shopping cart.

When and where do I pick up my silent auction prizes?
Prizes can be picked up at the Registration / Checkout Table starting at 10:15 PM on the night of the Gala. All prizes must be taken home that evening.

If you are not attending the Gala, you may pick up your prize at Garden School from Monday, April 28 through Wednesday, April 30. Please coordinate pickup with Kat Sullivan at [email protected]. Prizes will not be mailed under any circumstances.
