Bruce Kennedy is a dedicated public servant, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for diabetes research and awareness. Currently serving as the Village Administrator of Sea Cliff, Bruce oversees daily operations, capital projects, and community engagement, fostering collaboration and progress within his community. Prior to this role, he served as Mayor of Sea Cliff for eight years, demonstrating visionary leadership and a commitment to fiscal responsibility.

Before his public sector career, Bruce founded and led three successful businesses, achieving industry-leading results, including landmark projects for the United Nations, JPMorgan Chase, and Brookfield Properties.

Bruce has long supported diabetes advocacy, attending "Cooking for a Cure" dinners to support his friend Delia, whose daughter Amanda has lived with Type 1 diabetes since childhood. However, his commitment deepened on February 8, 2023, when his 25-year-old son Alex was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes after a serious episode of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). This life-changing event shifted Bruce's focus from being a supporter to an impassioned advocate, making diabetes research and awareness a central part of his mission.

In addition to his advocacy, Bruce serves as Vice Chair of the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Treasurer of North Shore CASA, and Board Member of Girls Rising, demonstrating his enduring dedication to strengthening communities and empowering others.
