Donate an Item NowThe Daniel Boone Council, partnering with Fontana Village Resort & Marina, are excited to present the Tenth Annual Daniel Boone Council Bass Classic Tournament. Food, fun, fishing and awards are just a few things to look forward too.
Proceeds from the event help support the character and leadership development programs of Scouting for nearly 2,000 youth in WNC. A quality Scouting program contributes to the healthy development of young people by providing them the environment, resources and relationships they need to grow and learn. It's an investment in the future!
WHEN: April 4-6th - We ask all participants to attend Friday Night (April 4th) Check-in. We will have snacks and heavy hors d'oeuvre. Boats will usually start unloading around 5:00 AM Saturday morning. There is a mandatory safety/informational talk at the marina at 6:00 AM on both days. ALL Participants MUST agree to the rules.
Participants will be fishing not only to Support Scouting, but to win CASH!
Tournament Prize Payouts:
1st Place Boat: $3,000 - Guaranteed
2nd Place Boat: $2,000 - Full Payout after 25 Boats
3rd Place Boat: $1,000 - Full Payout after 30 Boats
4th Place Boat: $500 - Full Payout after 35 Boats
5th Place Boat: $300 - Full Payout after 40 Boats (continue paying each place $300 for every 5 boats registered)
Tournament Big Bass - $350
Payouts are paid starting with the first place, based on how many boats are registered. We will pay out 100% to first place before 2nd place receives payout, and will continue until we hit the payout amount.
REGISTRATION: This year we are offering two boat registration options.
- One Boat (Meals and Room) $500 - This ticket includes one boat (2 participants) entry fee, Friday Night (April 19th) check-in with hors d'oeuvre, sack lunches for both participants both days, two tickets to Saturday Night Dinner (Chicken Marsala and/or Flank Steak, with proper sides and dessert), and a room for two nights at Fontana Village Resort (includes 2 beds).
- One Boat (Base Fee) $250 - This ticket includes one boat (2 participants) entry fee, Friday Night check-in with hors d'oeuvre, and sack lunches for both participants both days.
Lodging will be FREE for Gold, Silver and Bronze Level sponsors, Two (2) night stay.
