Meet Trixie, the pint-sized Yorkshire terrier with a personality that could fill a mansion! As the official mascot of River Rose Estate Sales, this super social 5-year-old has never met a human she couldn't charm with a wag of her tail and a tilt of her head. Owned by Sam and Donna Tripp, Trixie's journey to becoming the family's precious jewel began in 2020, when fate brought her to them just before the world retreated into pandemic isolation. Rescued from the confines of a puppy mill in Little Rock, Arkansas, Trixie traded a life of hardship for one filled with love and adventure. Though small in stature, she possesses impressive athletic abilities, with her ball-catching skills worthy of a canine highlight reel! When it comes to treats, this tiny Yorkshire terrier has a surprisingly enormous appetite, chicken, carrots, fruit, and especially watermelon disappear at an astonishing rate when Trixie is around! Nothing brings Trixie more joy than a spirited game of chase across the front yard, her little legs moving at lightning speed as she darts and weaves with the energy of a dog twice her size. At day's end, she retires to her personal sleeping quarters, which is a cozy little bed complete with her favorite blanket, where she dreams of tomorrow's adventures. Family means everything to Trixie, who shares her home with her brother Gumbeaux. While she loves her entire human family, there's no question about who holds the top spot in her heart, daddy. The feeling is clearly mutual, as evidenced by her daddy's willingness to indulge her every whim. Though occasionally willing to sport an outfit for special occasions, Trixie maintains a "less is more" philosophy when it comes to fashion. Her most prized possessions are her collection of lamb chop toys, which have survived countless enthusiastic play sessions. Perhaps Trixie's greatest gift was the joy she brought to the Tripps during the isolating days of COVID lockdown, proving that sometimes the smallest members of our families make the biggest difference in our lives. One word describes her perfectly: precious, as fitting title for the tiny terrier who continues to steal hearts at every estate sale she graces with her presence!
