Meet TinTin, the zany standard poodle whose journey from shelter wild child to therapy-dog-in-training showcases the transformative power of love and patience! Adopted at 11 months old from the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana by Elise Spoor, this now 2½-year-old bundle of energy and sensitivity is living proof that second chances can lead to extraordinary lives.

When TinTin first bounded into the Spoor household, his enthusiastic approach to life earned him the title "wild child," but through dedicated training and boundless love, he's evolved into what his family describes as "perfect"-though still delightfully spoiled rotten! His natural compassion has led him toward a noble calling as he works toward becoming a therapy dog with aspirations to bring comfort to veterans at the War Veterans Home.

Among TinTin's impressive tricks is his theatrical interpretation of "taking a nap"-a performance that begins with lying down, rolling onto his side, and culminating with a dramatically flung leg in classic poodle fashion. When not showcasing his dramatic talents, TinTin can be found savoring his beloved Purina Busy Beggin' Twisted Treats or burning energy during his daily walks and 100-yard Fast CAT events, where his standard poodle speed leaves spectators in awe. The nighttime routine for this loving canine begins at Elise's feet on their bed, though he typically migrates to the living room as the night progresses, spreading his poodle presence throughout the home. TinTin shares his kingdom with three rescue siblings: Isaac Newton (a parti standard poodle), Captain Morgan (a miniature schnauzer), and Lt. Dan (an apple head chihuahua)-a diverse pack united by their second-chance stories. Beyond his immediate family, TinTin maintains a special friendship with Monchi the pug, his partner in adventures. Halloween revealed TinTin's flair for the dramatic when he and Elise transformed into the Tin Man and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, a costume choice that perfectly captured his silver-hearted nature. His favorite playmate remains his human dad, with whom he shares special bonding time over his beloved donut toy, though his favorite perch is the armrest of the sectional beside Elise's husband. In one perfect word, TinTin is simply "loving"-a quality that radiates through his sensitive soul and energetic spirit, making him not just a perfect candidate for therapy work, but a perfect addition to the Spoor family who saw beyond his wild beginnings to the extraordinary poodle prince within.
