Mountains and Canyons - May 23-25 2025

At 10,781', Mount Baker is a great introductory glaciated peak to learn Ski/Snowboard Mountaineering skills and test your limits! With generally favorable conditions to ski until at least the end of June, it is one of the best places to go once the snow has melted everywhere else. With very experienced guides/instructors, you are in great hands to learn the skills it takes to be prepared ski mountaineering, and hopefully enjoy a wonderful ski off the summit.

Participants must be experienced with backcountry skiing, be comfortable ascending up to 5000' per day, and ski/ride at an Advanced/Expert level. For those unsure of their abilities, please reach out to us, as those that do not meet our riding standard may be asked to walk down sections of the mountain or remain at camp. Participants must be capable of skiing with 40-45 lb pack from camp down to the trailhead.

The typical routes for this course are the Easton Glacier, Squak Glacier and Coleman-Demming. Advanced courses on more challenging routes can be setup on a custom basis.
