Two bottles of Nicaraguan Rum

Setting his sights on the bountiful land and rich culture that had drawn him across the ocean, Alfredo Francisco pursued a new vision - of making a rum in Nicaragua, known as the land of lakes and volcanoes, that would become one of the most refined spirits in the world. He sought out the perfect terroir to grow, distill and age such a rum, and found it in the breathtaking landscape at the base of Nicaragua's tallest active volcano: the San Cristóbal. The fertile volcanic terroir offered mineral-rich soil and water, and a unique tropical climate that would be instrumental in forging an exceptionally smooth rum of deeply nuanced flavor. It was here, near the Pacific Ocean and in the shadow of a volcano, that Alfredo Francisco
began to build his dream.
