Safe Passage Project Inaugural Gala

Safe Passage Project provides free legal representation and social work support to unaccompanied immigrant children under 21 in New York City and Long Island who are facing deportation. Many of these children are fleeing life-threatening situations like gang violence, abuse, and extreme poverty.

With a full-time staff of only 62, we currently support 1400 clients with free full legal representation and social work support. Our senior attorneys also serve as advisors and mentors to 559 pro bono attorneys, expanding our reach and impact.

The Gala supports Safe Passage's commitment to seeing that unaccompanied immigrant children receive due process and access to justice. Our advocacy is centered around our clients' safety, dignity, and humanity.
