Celebrating 20 Years of Empowering Children through Arts Education

North Carolina Arts in Action (NC AIA) is thrilled to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and we look forward to sharing that joy with you at our 2025 annual gala on March 7, 2025. As we reflect on two decades of inspiring young minds through dance and live music, we are filled with gratitude for the partners, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers who make our work possible.

Our annual gala is a special opportunity to recognize event sponsors and honor the commitment of our incredible partners, including partner schools and own NC AIA teachers. Their unwavering, passionate dedication to children and our communities is at the heart of our success.

We are especially excited to show our appreciation to this year's Special Honoree, Mindy Solie, whose contributions to NC Arts in Action have been invaluable. As a Board Member, Mindy's tireless dedication to our mission has helped shape the growth and impact of our programs. She is an amazing ambassador for NC AIA and the work we do.

Since 2005, North Carolina Arts in Action has taught life skills through dance and live music programs to children in elementary schools across the Triangle. We believe that every child, regardless of ability or socio-economic status, has potential and deserves access to the arts. Our programs now reach over 1,700 fourth-grade students annually throughout Wake, Durham, Chatham, and Orange counties-and we continue to expand!

Over this 20-year journey, you have helped us to nurture nearly 20,000 children through our transformative arts education programs. Thank you for sharing our dream and continuing to inspire and empower students across North Carolina.
