This amazing replica of Johanna Troutman's flag will make a statement in any Texans' home! It has a presence as large as our beloved state, with dimensions of 4'x5'.
The Troutman Flag was created in 1835 by Joanna Troutman, an 18-year-old woman from Baldwin County, Georgia. In response to a call for aid during the Texas Revolution, she designed this flag to accompany the Georgia Battalion, a group of volunteers heading to Texas to support its fight for independence from Mexico. The flag was first unfurled on January 8, 1836, over the American Hotel in Velasco, Texas.
The Troutman Flag is not just a historical artifact; it embodies the courage and determination of those who fought for Texas's freedom, making it a cherished symbol in Texan heritage.
