Sweetheart of the Rodeo, Signed
In 2018, Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman reunited for a US tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sweetheart of the Rodeo, the Byrds' 6th studio album. The duo, who were backed on the tour by Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives, performed all of the songs from the country rock classic and told stories about its creation. A live double album of recordings from the 50th Anniversary concerts was released for Record Store Day 2024 (limited edition of 2500 in translucent gold).
This truly ONE-OF-A-KIND vinyl is the ONLY copy to be signed by Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, Marty Stuart and the band. Includes a Letter of Authenticity written by Marty Stuart.
"As a band, we got to be the Byrds, and Roger and Chris got to be Roger and Chris without having to put up with anything that had to do with band life, and the audience saw things and heard things that they never thought they'd ever see again or have never heard or seen before, right?"- Marty Stuart
(Incidentally, The Byrds decided not to perform at Woodstock in 1969. Later, they said they regretted that decision!)
If the winning bidder is outside of the Nashville area, the winner will be responsible for paying shipping and insurance costs.
