The Junior League of Las Vegas (JLLV) is a dynamic organization of women dedicated to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. For over 78 years, JLLV has been at the forefront of addressing critical community needs and empowering women to create lasting change.

Every year, JLLV hosts its annual Paint the Town Red Gala, which serves as the premier fundraising event of the year, celebrating the remarkable contributions of individuals and organizations that embody the spirit of service and leadership. This elegant evening not only honors our distinguished awardees but also raises essential funds to support JLLV's impactful programs and initiatives, enabling us to continue making a meaningful difference in Southern Nevada.

 Lifetime Community Achievement Award
This accolade honors sustaining members of Junior League who have been dedicated to volunteerism. Past recipients include Wendy Kalb, LuAnn Kutch, Judy Beal, Thalia Dondero, Bonnie Bryan, Carolyn Sparks, Donna Andress, Janice Allen, Betsy Rhodes, Dedee Nave, Maria Quirk, Madeleine Andress, Dorothy Huffey, Nancy GashoFromm, Jeanne Greenawalt, Linda Givens, and Sally Rycroft. 

JLLV is proud to honor two extraordinary individuals whose leadership has shaped the League for generations. A remarkable mother-daughter duo, Sharon Beatty and Tamara Beatty Peterson have guided JLLV through pivotal moments, embodying the true spirit of service, dedication, and mentorship. 

The 2025 Lifetime Community Achievement Award recipients are Sharon Beatty and Tammy Peterson.

    


Florence Lee Jones Humanitarian Award
Established to recognize Southern Nevadans who have made significant, enduring contributions to humanity in keeping with the ideals of the Junior League. These contributions include promoting the welfare of humankind, education, and other services benefiting the women and children of Southern Nevada. Past recipients include The Raiders Foundation, Elizabeth Blau, Yolanda King, Ken and Dee Ladd, Ann Lynch, Don and Dee Snyder, Jerry and Lois Tarkanian, Carolyn Goodman, Lovee Arum, Punam Mathur, Mary Cashman & Family, Jim Rogers, Louise Helton, and Pat Mulroy.

The 2025 Florence Lee Jones Humanitarian Award honors Eva G. Simmons.


Community Impact Award
Created in 2021 to recognize a business or organization that has made significant contributions to the community or provides services benefitting women and children. Past recipients include the UFC and Sunrise Children's Hospital.

The 2025 Community Impact Award honors Athar Haseebullah, Esq, and the ACLU of Nevada.

What room will the event take place in?

Paint the Town Red will take place in the Agave Ballroom! 


Where should you park? 

Parking is available with both free valet & self-park. We recommend parking in the lot on the south side of the building. From the main entrance, take a left and then proceed toward the Convention Space on the right-hand side as you approach the Bel Aire Lounge. Follow the convention hallway directly to the ballroom. A map is included below for your convenience. 
 

What is the dress code? 

Paint the Town Red is black tie optional! Floor length and cocktail length dresses are appropriate as well as suits and tuxedos. 
 

What should you do if you have dietary restrictions?

Email [email protected] with any dietary restrictions by Wednesday, March 26th at 5:00 PM. We will do our best to accommodate your needs! 
 

Can you bid on the auction if you're not present to win? 

We encourage everyone to bid in the silent auction! If you're not present to win, recipients will be emailed the week following the event for prize pick up. Bidders must be present for the live auction or select an attendee to bid on their behalf.
