Ticket price is $150 for one (1) ticket or $250 for two(2) tickets. Ticket sales will end Saturday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. Only 650 tickets will be sold. A minimum of 450 tickets must be sold, otherwise, it becomes a 50/50 Cash Raffle …either way, YOU CAN WIN! Participants may purchase more than one (1) ticket. A winner will be drawn on Saturday, March 22 at the Blessed Trinity Auction and announced/alerted via text. Winner need not be present to win. All raffle proceeds will directly support Blessed Trinity Catholic High School students. The purchase price of a raffle ticket does not qualify as a tax-deductible charitable contribution. Winner may opt for a cash buyout less the tax withholding (25% federal and 7% state income) in place of the Mercedes-Benz. Raffle winnings are a taxable income and must be reported as such on income tax returns. Federal Law requires 25% of the fair market value of the prize to be withheld or collected from the winner before claiming the prize. Winner is responsible for all taxes and government fees based on purchase price of vehicle and like charges associated with the Mercedes-Benz and for paying any such amounts when receiving the Mercedes-Benz from Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta Northeast. Winner must claim the prize at Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta Northeast within one week and must complete IRS form 5754 - liability release before redeeming the prize. Failure to complete requirements deems the winner ineligible. Out-of-state winner can arrange driving, delivery or shipping of Mercedes-Benz. All payments can be arranged virtually.
