The Golden Apple Gala is our signature fundraising event to support PEF's programming. The event gives our community the opportunity to come together to support public school students at a stylish party. During the event, we recognize the many donors who make PEF's work possible by investing in our public schools and celebrate community members who are committed to our students!
Introducing our inaugural CCSD Alumni of the Year!
PEF rallies the community to address the most critical issues in our public schools. As we work to make improvements on behalf of our students, we also strive to recognize the excellence found throughout our public schools.
Throughout our community, graduates of the Clark County School District drive positive change and inspire others to do the same as leaders, policymakers, community advocates, and more.
PEF is proud to recognize our inaugural Emerging Alumni of the Year awardee, Adrian Gonzalez. Adrian is the founder of Country Bars, a soap company founded as part of his senior year project at Northwest Career and Technical Academy. Adrian is a recent CCSD graduate who is already making an impact for himself and his community.
We will also celebrate Dr. Bo Bernhard and Alex Bybee as our inaugural CCSD Alumni of the Year. Both graduates of Bonanza High School, Bo and Alex are shining examples of the many CCSD graduates achieving excellence and making a positive impact on our community.
PEF's Mission
The Public Education Foundation's mission is to partner with the community and the Clark County School District to meet immediate, critical education needs that will strengthen our public schools. Thanks to our many community partners, we work to ensure every public school student in Clark County can succeed. Together, we are driving public education forward.

No act of generosity is too small to make a difference!
To help inspire our students to follow in their footsteps and achieve their dreams, funds raised at the Golden Apple Gala will support the following PEF programs for students and teachers:
Scholarships Plus, which provided $6.7 million in scholarships this year to help more than 800 students
Teacher FastTrack, which helped put 82 new teachers in local classrooms.
PEF Teacher Superstore, which provided $1 million in free and low-cost essential school supplies for teachers to help more than 49,000 students participate in the classroom and do their homework.
