Artist Statement
The Stradust series is a series of digital arts inspired by my original, circular, indigo, relief prints. It builds on this inspiration to illustrate the birth of a star, a new spark of life, and a glimpse of hope.

Each print, une Etincelle/ Spark, is in a limited edition of 10 archival pigment prints, signed and numbered at the back and printed onto Hahnemuhle photo rag metallic paper, 100% cotton and 340 gsm.

Artist Bio
Agathe Bouton (born Paris, France; lives Wynnewood, PA, USA). Received a BFA in Painting and Printmaking in 1987 and her MFA in Arts and Textile Design in 1989 both from École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris, France.

Her work was recently exhibited at the 2024 Future Fair in New York during Frieze as well as at the Zurcher Gallery in Manhattan during the 2023 Armory show. She has had solo exhibitions at the Biennale de l'Art Africain Contemporain in Dakar, Senegal; Rathaus House in Waldbrol, Germany; Centre d'Arts Plastiques Albert Chanot in Clamart, and Galerie Martine Namy-Caulier in Paris, France; Galerie Od'A in Istanbul, Turkey; River Gallery in Yangon, Burma/Myanmar; the Bettie Morton Gallery in London, UK and Stanek Gallery in Philadelphia.

She has received numerous awards and honors for her printmaking and her work is in the collections of French institution as well as American public collections.
