This fishnet, or fish scale pattern, is a signature motif in Herend hand-painted porcelain pieces. Known for its intricate detail and timeless elegance, this design adds a distinctive touch to any collection. Each piece is meticulously hand-painted, showcasing the craftsmanship and artistry that has made Herend one of the most revered names in fine porcelain.

Mythological Description:

In the name Foo Dog or Fu Dog, the Fo stands for Buddha or Prosperity. Herend and the whole Austro-Hungarian Monarchy was influenced by orientalism in the 19th century so it was obvious for them to include Foo Dogs in the product range.
