Zulu Nyala Private Game Reserve provides a unique bush experience in the heart of one of South Africa's most diverse conservation regions. Nestled between the wilderness reserves of Mkuze, Hluhluwe, St Lucia and Sodwana Bay, this lush stretch of paradise is home to a wide variety of game, from the majestic elephant to rhino, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, the secretive leopard and cheetah and the shy Nyala antelope that are endemic to the region.

The privately owned reserve is home to over 40 different species of animal and magnificent birdlife. A large variety of game reserve activities and excursions are available to all guests of Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari Lodge and Hemingway Tented Camp.

The Heritage Safari Lodge was originally built in the 1940's as a hotel and was a landmark pitstop for weary travelers between Maputo and Durban. Acquired in 1996, the gracious building was lovingly
restored to its original colonial grandeur, enhanced with new accommodation, and tastefully themed to highlight Zululand's unique cultural heritage.

Relax in the comfort of your beautifully appointed room or bask poolside in the African sun. Take a stroll around the extensive gardens and stop past the crocodile pond and observe prehistoric looking reptiles in their natural surroundings or just sit on the lawns and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

Airfare and airport transfers are not included.

Purchaser must make reservation and complete travel by May 10, 2027.

Accommodations are in a standard king or two twin guestroom. Package excludes; airfare, airport transfers, drinks, laundry and extra excursions.

Purchaser will receive a traveler's booking form from Philantopia for each travel package. Purchaser has one year from event/purchase date to return completed form to [email protected] and book trip. Travel must be completed within two years from date of purchase.
