2021 Vice Versa Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon

Vise Versa first gained access to Beckstoffer GIII Vineyard in 2018, and they've been pleased with the results ever since. You can't ask for more quintessentially Rutherford raw materials, and the wine that emerges features balance with power, loamy-dusty red and black fruit, and a pliant, fresh personality. Designed by German artist Felix Dolah, the label depicts The Three Graces: Zeus's daughters Euphrosyne, Aglaea, and Thalia, who were said to represent youth and beauty, mirth, and elegance. Dolah's water and charcoal images play with impressionist figures and negative space.

Tasting Notes
The first vintage at this historic site showcases a vivacious, rich, and multifaceted personality that offers
lavish aromatics of mocha, ripe red and black berries, and savory notes of mountain herbs, sage, gravelly
loam, and French oak spices. While it is incredibly regal now, the layers, powerful mid-palate, acidity, and
abundant silky ripe tannins foretell a generous life.

Blend
100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard in Rutherford. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, 26 days on skins,
aged in French oak barrels for approximately 18 months, 80% new French oak barrels, no fining.
