Each and every day at MMS, in ways big and small, we are lighting a spark of curiosity, discovery and creativity in the children who serve.
During their time with us, that spark grows into a flame that illuminates their potential and inspires a bright future for years to come... a bright future for not only the students themselves, but our communities and world as well.
As a community-based non-profit organization, MMS relies on the partnership of families, alumni and community friends to fuel the future for today's students -- now nearly 200 children ages 2-14. We are grateful for the generous support that has enabled our school to lead, serve and thrive for nearly 50 years, and sincerely hope you can join us in sustaining this tradition in the year ahead.
"Lighting the Way," the 2024 MMS Annual Appeal, provides essential funding that helps meet the growing demand for superior academic options in our community and nurtures the next generation of innovative thinkers, problem solvers, community builders and visionary leaders.
This year's goal is $20,000. Your tax-deductible gift to the campaign is an investment in the heart of our community--students and teachers. With your donation, you are lighting the way for:
- Faculty: Montessori credential training sponsorships; assistant/specialist training; AMS school accreditation work; AMS certification courses in reading, writing and anti-bias/antiracism; end of year and retention bonuses; Teacher Appreciation Week; and more!
- Facilities: continuing indoor and outdoor learning environment enhancements for all students.
- Families: widening community access to our programs by providing $45,000 in financial aid and scholarships to local children.
