Don't miss the Children's Museum of Richmond's one-of-a-kind fundraising event!

Pretend Again: A Grown-Up Night at the Museum is a party for adults only on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. at our Downtown location.

Join us for a care-free fun-filled evening featuring some of RVA's finest food, specialty beverages at an open bar, and music to keep you grooving into the night!

We promise that you will feel like a kid again in the vibrant and engaging environment of the Children's Museum. There will truly be something for the inner child in all of us…dazzling diamonds, a spectacular bourbon bonanza, games, prizes and more!

All proceeds will support the Museum's work in the community to ensure all children have access to fun, safe ways to play.

"We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." -George Bernard Shaw

Play is the foundation of the CMoR's mission because children learn best through play. Playing to learn equips children for a lifetime of discovery, wonder, and accomplishment, and when all children have shared opportunities to play, they grow together into a thriving community.

Please make a donation today to support the Children's Museum of Richmond's efforts to bring play outside our walls, empower caregivers to be their child's first teacher, and ensure everyone has access to learn through play, regardless of ability or background.
