We call him Bob, but you can call him your own!
The Workshop of Master Craftsman Antoine Chaudron in Val-David, in the Laurentians, mainly produces cast pewter products. Their pewter is made from an alloy that, according to North American standards, contains at least 92% tin. This alloy is lead-free, meaning Antoine Chaudron's products are non-toxic and do not blacken. It is said that pewter is the first metal exploited by man because it is shallow in the ground and therefore easily extracted. It has been found at different times, in dishes and various kitchen utensils, in doctors' offices, in religious objects, and even in warriors' shields. The Workshop also maintains a component in the creation of sculptures, medals and trophies, and unique and limited-edition pieces. For over 25 years, Antoine Chaudron has been running this family business. The father-son Workshop is now run by its second generation after having been passed down with love from its founder, Bernard Chaudron.
