The Refectory
The Refectory's relaxed and quiet pace presents an evening of elegant dining. At the heart of the dining experience are the culinary creations directed by Chef Richard Blondin, a native of Lyon, France, who studied under chefs Pierre Orsi and Paul Bocuse.
The exceptional contemporary American cuisine and classic French cuisine are complemented by a world-class wine cellar encompassing over 700 selections.
Experienced and knowledgeable staff and the personal touch of owner Kamal Boulos, complete the gracious yet unpretentious service that enhances a memorable evening.
Barnett Vineyards MMV Cabernet Sauvignon
MMV stands for Mountain Meets Valley. The 2022 MMV is the darkest ever produced being opaque and near black. The valley floor aromatics jump out of the glass with a big raspberry jam and caramel while the mountain fruit pulls the jam aspect back adding some blackcurrant and earth tones. The mouth is very supple and rich with the tannins making themselves present immediately. There are more mountain flavors on the palate; black fruit, peppercorn, and gravel minerality. This might be the chalkiest tannin vintage of Barnett's MMV and it will age wonderfully over the next 15-17 years.
