Fyr & Salt have partnered with 8 Hands Farm to provide the culinary offerings at the Cutchogue farm.

The Cafe menu is created on a weekly basis, only using meat from 8 Hands Farm and produce from the farm when available during the growing season. Any ingredients not available from the farm are sourced locally and/or certified organic. All sandwich bread
is sourdough, made with organic NYS flour is baked fresh on site every morning.

The Farm is open year around Thursday-Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 9-4, except the first two weeks of January. 4735 Cox Lane, Cutchogue, NY 11935

A Slow Food East End Snail of Approval award winner, 8 Hands Farm is a small, family-run, regenerative farm whose focus is on environmental sustainability, soil health and connection with the community

Established by owners Carol and Tom after being inspired viewing the documentary Food Inc., the more Carol and Tom learned about the
industrialized food system they found much that they didn't like about the farming methods and large scale animal confinement operations that dominate the food industry. Tom and Carol believe food is a great connector of families and communities and that clean farming and allowing animals to graze freely
and use their natural behaviors could have a critical and positive role in the quality and humanity of the food we eat. They realized that real change would have to take place at a grassroots level and even though they had no farming experience, they decided to take
on that challenge.
