About the Richmond Christmas Fund
Welcome to the Richmond Christmas Fund's 5th Annual Online Auction! Before you start browsing our spectacular selection of items, let us tell you a little about who we are and what you'll be supporting.
The Richmond Christmas Fund is a charitable program operated by Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (RCRG). Each year, during the holiday season, the Christmas Fund extends a helping hand to our neighbours in need, providing them with grocery vouchers, toys, and gift cards. In 2023, we served nearly 4,000 people, including 1,593 children and teenagers.
With a history spanning over 90 years, the Christmas Fund reflects the incredible generosity of Richmond residents and businesses, whose donations bring the program to life.
Your Bid Makes a Difference
The Christmas Fund's online auction is one of the program's largest fundraising initiatives. Auction proceeds are used to purchase grocery vouchers for Richmond families who, otherwise, wouldn't be able to afford a holiday celebration.
This year's auction opens at 9:00am on Tuesday, November 19, and closes at 5:00pm on Thursday, December 5. During those 17 days, you'll have an opportunity to bid on restaurant gift cards, sports tickets, bottles of wine, and more, knowing that every bid you place will have a positive impact on your community.
At the conclusion of the auction, winning bidders will be notified via e-mail when and where they can claim their item(s).
