Dallin is a very cute, gentle, brave and smart girl. Her parents work as trash collectors. She was born in Phnom Penh but when she was around 6 months, her father left the family to never come back.
Her mother decided to move to Kandal Province because some of her friends also moved there. She continues to work as a trash collector, selling flowers and begging for money from the tourists who visit the mountain (Oudong). Both of them stay in the village communal house.
Her mother was very sick with high blood pressure and diabetes and passed away in December 2023.
Dallin moved to live with her older half-brother who was already married with three children. Her brother's living conditions are not good. He only has a small business at home selling groceries and makes very little income to support the whole family.
Her brother wants her to live in the organization because they believe that Dallin will have a bright future.
Education: Dallin was in grade 4 at the state school and her result was fair.
She loves teddy bears and purple butterflies.
Dallin helps her brother by selling groceries and looking after her brother's children.
Health condition: She has a normal health condition with no medical history or allergies recorded. Her favorite dish is sour chicken and morning glories soup.
Dallin is scared of snakes.
Relationships with her community and at school are good. She is a friendly girl.
Future goal: She wants to become a singer. Having a sponsor will allow her the opportunity to attend school regularly and receive the education she needs to make her goals a reality.
UPDATE: Currently, Dallin is living safely in Hope House with all of her new sisters. She is very happy with delicious food and studies in grade 4 at a good school.
