Welcome to WildNite for Wildlife 2025

This important fundraising event generates critical funds to operate our Wildlife Hospital, which admitted more than 9,000 animals in 2024.

Join us this year at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium on April 3rd at 5:30 p.m. for an evening of engagement with our organization's leaders and native wildlife. The evening will include entertainment, silent and live auctions.  We will share stories of care and concern for Ohio's native wildlife with a focus on how our powerful partnerships contribute to the success of our mission!  We will showcase how your support allows Ohio Wildlife Center to offer this vital service to our community.

One Small Change

In wildlife rehabilitation and conservation, even small changes can have a profound impact. Simple actions like switching to lead-free tackle and shot, using a biodegradable fishing line, or ending balloon releases can save countless lives. By being responsible stewards of this incredible planet, we can ensure a better future for both wildlife and humans alike.

At Ohio Wildlife Center, our staff and volunteers are committed to serving the entire community, whether they walk, fly, or slither. But we can't do it alone-we need your help!

How can a small change lead to a big impact? As you think about your sponsorship level, consider moving up. Not only will you enjoy additional benefits for your generosity, but you'll also play a direct role in saving more lives.

About Ohio Wildlife Center

For the last 40 years, Ohio Wildlife Center has been helping injured, orphaned and ill native wildlife. Of all the rehabbers in the state of Ohio, Ohio Wildlife Center is the largest, consisting of a small staff that is supported by a larger pool of volunteers. Our mission is dedicated to fostering awareness and appreciation of Ohio's native wildlife through rehabilitation, education and wildlife health studies.

Ohio Wildlife Center is stationed on two campuses. Our Wildlife Hospital is located at 2661 Billingsley Rd in Columbus, Ohio (Franklin County). This donation-based community hospital is open to the public to admit wildlife in need of help. Our other campus is located at 9000 Dublin Rd in Powell, Ohio within Delaware County. Here, we have an Education Center where the public can visit, and a Pre-Release Facility, where our animal patients prepare for a life back in the wild.

Our Wildlife Hospital admits over 8,500 animals a year! Each animal admitted into the facility has a unique story and is given specialized care. These admissions encompass almost 200 different species from more than 60 of Ohio's 88 counties.

Our Education Campus houses our nearly 60 non-releasable animal ambassadors supporting the spread of awareness of our native wildlife to over 20,000 people each year. Offering both on and offsite programming, this education helps to reduce animals admitted to the hospital through human and domestic animal conflicts.

Over 250 volunteers, interns and work groups help to support the day to day operations over our organization. From animal care to woodworking, gardening to diet preparation and everything in between, we rely heavily on those volunteers to help care for all the wildlife on our campuses.
