SOUTHWEST REVERIE
This reproduction of Tamara State I by renowned Navajo artist R.C. Gorman evokes the colors and mood of the Southwest (framed, measures 46" x 43"). Gorman's art reflects the racial memory and experience of an ancient people that remains timeless and universal. The deceptively simple, lyrical lines of his drawings provoked the New York Times to title R. C. Gormans as "The Picasso of American Indian Art." Gorman died in 2005.
