CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Sulphur Springs is in the midst of a $15 million project to increase the size of the hospital's surgical wing. The existing operating area of 12,000 sf is original to the 1968 building. It was designed for 14 procedures a day. There are currently up to 54 procedures conducted daily.

The expansion will increase the footprint to 19,000 sf and double the number of operating rooms. The four new surgical suites will be larger and accommodate the latest technology, including the capacity to facilitate robotic surgical systems.

To continue providing the best surgical services and care for patients and the community, the hospital must increase its ability to offer more surgeries and more types of surgery and accommodate the latest state-of-the-art technology. This expansion will allow for that while furthering CMF-SS' mission of extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

This project is in partnership with the community, as the hospital asks you to join them to ensure we have the best medical options available locally. Your help is needed to maximize this project by helping secure the latest equipment and additional components necessary to create a surgical environment conducive to the latest science and technology.
