This chair is one of 149 chairs, of which only 4 remain at large, these chairs were originally hung on Apres Vous, Chair 7 at Jackson Hole Ski Area in Wyoming in 1973. They remained in operation until summer of '95.
In 1998 this chair became a part of Missoula skiing history at Marshall Mountain Ski area. Marshall, for many decades, was the home to thousands of Missoulians learning how to ski.

The a-frame stand was designed by Valley Christian welding students and made to be set up anywhere.
