Have you been looking for a fun way to get through winter? Gather your friends and join Chef Bert in the kitchen to boost your kitchen confidence and learn some new kitchen tricks!
Taught by Chefs Bert and Kyle of the Big Sky Culinary Institute, this hands-on workshop for you and up to 10 of your friends will walk you through proper knife handling and techniques. Increase your kitchen efficiency and impress your friends!
You will learn a variety of vegetable cuts, knife recommendations, and knife sharpening while making a batch of soup with the group. Enjoy dinner together there and take your new skills and leftover soup home to show off to everyone!
Perfect for a unique winter activity, your class can be booked any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening, from 4-6p, between January 28th and April 11th, excluding Spring Break (March 17th-21st).
Chef Bert Gahagan grew up in Missoula. After graduating from the California Culinary Academy, he worked for restaurants in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, before helping open Missoula's popular steakhouse, 1889. He is now the Executive Chef at the Big Sky Culinary Institute.
