Dog-friendly log cabin on 44 acres with woodstove & porch, near lakes/skiing

The comfort of home meets rustic digs at this tranquil 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom Stow, ME vacation home sleeps up to 10 people.

Whether a sparkling summer, colorful fall, or mid-winter frosted with snow, this log cabin in Stow is immersed in the quiet beauty of Maine's Lakes and Mountains Region. Stunningly secluded on 44 private acres, this chalet is a place for adventure-filled days and warm, cozy nights curled up by the woodstove.

This two-story home sits less than two miles outside small-town Stow, in the heart of the Lakes and Mountains Region of Western Maine. In winter, find the slopes of Pleasant Mountain Ski Area 11 miles south. In warmer weather, fish for salmon or trout at neighboring Kezar Lake, spend a day at Sebago Lake State Park (30 miles), or cross over into New Hampshire for a stunning fall foliage drive on the Kancamagus Highway (19 miles).

Upon your arrival, you'll be greeted by a spacious front porch - a tranquil, covered space to sip your coffee in the mornings and watch for deer making their way through the glen. Just inside, the living space encompasses 1,700 square feet of natural wood elements and such thoughtful touches as radiant floor heating.

The ambience is classic and rustic, but there's modern comfort at every turn. Prepare meals using stainless steel appliances in the custom kitchen, play board games around the coffee table, and watch movies (on DVD and streaming services) as the woodstove crackles in the background. A washer/dryer, complimentary WiFi, and seasonal window air conditioning are provided as well.

Special Attention: Includes a one-week stay / mutually agreed upon dates.
