Festive Wear & Gear
We know it is Cali but the rink gets chilly at night after the sun sets.
Festive winter wonderland wear is encouraged but not required.
We recommend to bring layers!
Don't forget to wear or bring socks if you plan on skating.
Skate rental is included with your ticket. You can bring your own skates & helmet if you wish!
Transport & Parking
Ice at Santa Monica is at 1324 5th St. in Downtown Santa Monica and is accessible by Metro and Big Blue Bus.
We recommend you use a ride share like Uber or Lyft. Also plenty of street parking is available.
And you can park easily in one of the parking structures on 4th Street and Arizona, directly across from TJ Maxx. The first 90 minutes in the parking structures are free and there is a $2 fee for the next 2 hours!
Weather
Ice at Santa Monica is an outdoor ice rink and subject to weather conditions. The ice rink will operate if it rains, but will close should conditions become dangerous to skaters. All ticket sales are final and there are no refunds on purchased tickets due to rain or other weather-related circumstances or said conditions' impact on the skating surface or overall experience. All proceeds benefit Teen Cancer and help young people who are experiencing cancer.
