Did you know that one of HudsonWay's former students offers private tutoring? Your child can spend one (1) hour with Suri Wong after 4:30/5:00pm* on a weekday (*depending on the location), and anytime from 2:30-5:00pm on a weekend.

Suri is a sophomore at The Bronx High School of Science, and can help with homework, catching up, or getting ahead in Mandarin or English. She can also assist with Korean reading, writing, and conversation. Learn more about Suri's tutoring business here!

Terms & Conditions

• New clients only; eligibility limited to current and former HWIS-NY students and their siblings.
• Refer to the contact information on the HWISPA-NY winner certificate to coordinate a date, time, and location that mutually suits the tutor and participant.
• Class can be in-person or virtual after 4:30/5:00pm* on weekdays, (*depending on the location), and anytime between 2:30-5:00pm on weekends.
• Since travel time can vary, location and date must be agreed upon at least a week prior to the session, and--for the safety of the tutor--the available timing may change based on location.
• In-home locations limited to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx; winner must provide round-trip ride-share service for tutor to and from a session hosted in an outer borough.
• Redeemable within six (6) months of the HWISPA-NY 2025 Silent Auction (May 9, 2025).
• Expires November 9, 2025.

HWIS Connection

Suri is the older sister of Remi (HWIS Student, Mandarin Grade 6). Her parents, Haejin In and Arthur Wong, have been generous supporters of HWIS (and big fans of Kirat Singh's homemade bread) for over a decade.
