Indulge in a memorable ice cream date with a teacher! This unique experience grants your student scrumptious one-on-one time with an educator outside of the classroom. It will be a sweet setting to ask questions, seek advice, or simply enjoy a conversation with an esteemed member of our faculty who may have been--or might one day be--an inspiration to your child. A profound moment to mutually exchange valuable insights, share thoughts, or deepen a teacher-student connection could even be the cherry on top of this sweet treat.

Terms & Conditions

• Available to all grades; eligibility limited to current and former HWIS-NY students and their siblings only.
• Email HWISPA-NY winner certificate to [email protected] to coordinate a date between teacher and student on a weekday during the spring 2025 semester; written correspondence may serve as expressed parental permission of an alternate off-campus location.
• On-campus ice cream date spans approximately 30-45 minutes, beginning shortly after dismissal unless otherwise requested and agreed upon with the teacher.
• Off-campus ice cream date is limited to $10.00 per person; allow extra time for the walk to/from a nearby parlor; arrangements to pick up the student from the parlor or the school after the date must be confirmed in advance.
• Must be redeemed prior to the last day of the 2024-2025 academic year.
