In an historical moment when many forces are attempting to silence diverse voices through book bans and challenges, we will come together with beloved authors to defend the legacy of Walter Dean Myers and to celebrate stories that save lives.
We're excited to feature three award-winning authors in conversation: Nikole Hannah-Jones, Jason Reynolds, and Jacqueline Woodson.
Join for a joyful Stories Save Lives community conversation and cocktail reception at the Whittemore House in Washington, DC, as we commemorate a decade of uplifting marginalized voices and diversifying our bookshelves - all while we defend the freedom to read.
