Students used lids to trace on paper and following a simple design made flowers within the circle, using colored pencils. The students then used liquid watercolor to enhance their flower. On another day one half of the students did a directed draw image of the crucifix and the other half drew and colored in a Mary for the rosary centerpiece. They were all beautiful, but Adelaide Tiscareno's crucifix was chosen, and Lucca Merali's Mary became the centerpiece. Each student chose where they wanted to glue their flower onto gold circles representing rosary 'beads'. Some of the spots were
already taken with extra flowers from the class. I ensured each student personally chose their bead and helped glue it on. These were recorded and are on the back of the picture. The rest of the flowers are all from the class, but these were not recorded.
