Duty to God has been a tenet of Scouting since our beginnings in 1910. The Duty to God Breakfast is a perfect opportunity to come together and be inspired by works greater than our own, and to celebrate and recognize individuals who have exemplified their faith through their actions. All faiths are welcome and recognized by Scouting. This breakfast honors the importance of Scouts' faithfulness to their religious beliefs and respect for others' beliefs

Special Guest

Pastor Trevor DeVage

of Pantano Christian Church

Trevor attended Lincoln Christian University, where he earned a degree in Preaching with a minor in Youth Ministry. He later obtained a teaching degree from Wheaton University. For the next three years, he pursued his love of music, playing as a drummer in a band. However, the Lord led him back to ministry-first in youth ministry, then in preaching, which has been his focus for over two decades. He and his family have been serving and leading Pantano Christian Church in Tucson for two and a half years.

Trevor is passionate about helping people who haven't yet found what they're looking for in life and guiding them toward redemption and transformation. When he's not engaged in ministry, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their two daughters, Ella and Natalie. They love the outdoors, including lots of golf, basketball, and walks in the park. Sharing meals and taking family vacations are also very important to them. Trevor's other passions include golf, music, photography, the arts, and the Florida Gators. If you ever have dinner with Trevor, you'll discover that he is quick-witted, loves applesauce (on everything), and avoids drinking from straws (it creeps him out). His ultimate goal in life is 'to make it evident that I've spent time with Jesus.
