Enjoy an oyster roast at historic Point of Pines, hosted by owner, Burnie Maybank. Burnie is an expert at southern hospitality and Point of Pines has hosted its share of oyster roasts over the years, considering this is the site of the first land grant on Edisto in 1683!

Grab 29 friends and watch the views of the North Edisto River while dining on oysters from our local waterways. Burnie will be manning the bar as well so prepare for a fun filled night!

What do Bluegrass music, Bourbon and a Horse Race in May have in common? A Kentucky Derby Party! Only this is better!

Your hosts will bring you all the music, food and festivities of Churchill Downs to Store Creek on Edisto. You will be greeted with your choice of a race day signature Mint Julep or Kentucky Oaks Lily. Once you have imbibed in the "spirits of the race" open bar is available for drinks of your choice. Next, slide out to the porch and enjoy a performance from Edisto's own Gapfillers Band. Culinary treats will be served up as you enjoy visiting with your friends at our home located creek side in Sunny Side Plantation. The big screen TV will be tuned to the excitement as the horses line up for the Run for the Roses - the most exciting two minutes in sports. The race begins at 6:45pm; so, before horses enter the gates, be sure to join in on several chances to win a pot for first, second and even last place finishes.

Bay Creek Cruise to a Louisiana Crawfish Boil! Enjoy a creek cruise from the Marina at Edisto beach to Linda and Kevin Steele's house on Big Bay Creek.

The Steeles will host you at their beautiful Edisto Beach home with amazing views of Bay Creek. Enjoy a casual crawfish boil cooked by a Louisiana expert. Beer and wine as well! Sunsets on Bay Creek are amazing this time of year! You will cruise back to the marina after this amazing dinner.

Dinner with a view! Enjoy a delicious steak and lobster dinner for up to eight guests with your hosts', Mike & KayDuck at their home on Point of Pines Road overlooking Ocella Creek. Start the fun evening with cocktails under the cabana, followed by a delicious surf and turf dinner with Bocelli Winery wine pairings around the farm table overlooking the marsh. Followed by an interactive dessert of bananas foster, which you and your guests get to help prepare.

Each bowl is a unique design and size ranging from approx. 14" circumfrance to approx. 22" circumfrance, each bowl highlights the beauty of the Marsh Oak. Possibilities for use are endless from spare change/keys to holding your special seashell collection. A great way to highlight a piece of Edisto in your home. A fun new event to enjoy this year! An enchanted Edisto evening watching a classic movie around a sparkling pool. Take your favorite classic movie - Some Like It Hot, Lawrence of Arabia, Roman Holiday, Casablanca, Breakfast at Tiffany's - and mix it with gourmet sliders and hot dogs, vintage movie snacks, beer, wine, and a signature cocktail. What you'll get is a fun-filled and enchanting evening! Join the Oakleys and Habheggers, for a poolside movie night at the Oakley's' home in Ocean Ridge on Edisto Beach.

Join Johanna Allston and Ted Swinnerton at the home of Betsy and Thad Daise sipping wine and munching on hors d'oeuvres while overlooking views from Scott and Big Bay Creeks. Ted is your sommelier for the evening, presenting attendees history and tidbits about the evenings wines while Thad pours at the pouring station. The evening starts with celebratory champagne to cleanse the palate, then proceeds with the tasting of selected red and white wines. The evening concludes with a light meal of beef tenderloin, parmesan potatoes, roasted vegetables and dessert with wines from the cellar of Johanna and Ted.

Two striking hand-turned bowls, in-filled with resin. The larger of the two is made from "Marsh Oak", locally harvested from the salt soaked earth of Edisto Island, and grayish/green translucent resin highlights the depth of the marsh oak; exterior circumference is approx. 27". The smaller, straight-sided bowl is Cherry and dark cherry colored opaque resin; exterior circumfrance is approx. 15". Handcrafted by local Edisto artisan, Patrick Boehrig.
