Join us for a hands-on, two-day pottery workshop led by the talented art teacher Mrs. Laura Fazekas! Whether you're a complete novice or just looking to refine your skills, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore the art of clay. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on two consecutive Saturdays, February 8 and 15, 2025. Open to ages 10 and up.

Day 1: Creating
On the first day, participants will dive into hand-building techniques to create unique, functional, and decorative pottery pieces. With her expert guidance, you'll bring your creative visions to life, crafting pieces that reflect your personal style.

Day 2: Glazing

On the second day, the focus will shift to glazing. Learn about different glazing techniques and how to enhance your pottery with beautiful colors and finishes. You'll get to experiment with various glazes, and under Laura's instruction, you'll discover how to achieve stunning results.

This workshop features the brand-new MHA kiln (funded by the 2022 Hoedown paddle raise!), allowing you to see your creations transformed in a state-of-the-art firing process.
