Project Description:
HELP US KEEP THIS ANNUAL ART SHOW TRADITION ALIVE! Glenwood Springs Elementary School, Sopris Elementary School, Riverview School, and Two Rivers Community School wish to continue displaying artworks from 5th-grade students at the Glenwood Springs Community Art Center. This creative endeavor benefits the entire Glenwood community and is cherished throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. The event also allows students from other grades to take field trips to the Art Center, enabling them to view their peers' artwork in an official gallery space. Participating in a community art show helps boost students' self-esteem and deepens their passion for the arts.

Proposal:
We have lost our funding for this annual showcase and are requesting funds to cover the costs associated with hosting the show. The event involves preparing the gallery space, creating flyers in both English and Spanish, hosting an opening night, and providing refreshments for attendees. The showcase allows students to express their creativity, and the community to celebrate their artistic achievements.

Budget Breakdown:

• 10 hours to hang the show: $300
• 5 hours to take down the show: $150
• Flyer creation and distribution: $90
• Building use (Jan. 13th - Feb. 28th): $240
• Opening night costs: $120
• Cookies, lemonade, and hanging materials for opening night: $100
